Post a Totally Random Moment From Fashion History...

I get that Julia is having a moment right now and her PR team needs her face everywhere, but she's such a painfully unconvincing marketing choice for me. I love Julia DEARLY. I think she's a fantastic actress with a great personality. But she's never had that mystique that a makes a good fashion model.

^^
And she already had the Vuitton walk! Almost running for no reason in the crillon Salon.

I would love for NG to call her again for Vuitton, for a winter show.
And since he is barely making high heels nowadays, she will be happy.

Frida Giannini currently calling me rambo in her comments because I told her she was too old to be so bitter about the new designers.

I did apologize for being rude btw but I stand behind my sentiments that she is embarrassing on instagram

She just (understandably) bitter that fashion sort of forgot about her. Having a tenure being bookended by two revolutionaries is an easy way to make it appear insignificant.

^^^ @LadyJunon Well I did start with she is one of my favorites tbh.

While others are sourcing vintage “tom ford” and “archive” - I hate that term. I’m literally trying to find Frida menswear in size xxl.

But yeah fashion does seem to have forgotten about her. I suspect she will be referenced by Gucci cd’s in the future. Maybe when she is no longer here to appreciate it unfortunately

Oh that was you ?!
You're right she often comes out as bitter and it does not suit her, maybe it's a reason she did not find another CD positions.

The Memphis couture was an absolute wildcard of a collection. Entertaining show to watch every now and then purely because of the absurdity. I'd say his take on John Galliano the brand was even more random! The Spring 2014 and 2015 were heinous, the latter not that long before Galliano's Margiela debut too.
