wow so i really hate that stupid massive pink think gwyneth wore. she didn't look good in it. it was too big and her hair didn't work either. the dress was massive at the bottom and then she hair was small and pulled back tight, shouldn't there be a little balance?

I think that was at the golden globes - but I agree, the dress was stunning, I don't think Renee ever looked more lovely

tough choices I voted for Cate's John Galliano dress, but honestly I liked Renee's just as much

I know. Me, I went for Chloe's Elbaz for YSL dresses for three reasons; one, because it had that glamour you'd come to expect from the Oscars (which, IMO, Cate's and Gwyneth didn't have); two, because her look suited her the best (though Gwyneth had that, too); and three, because it had a sort-of sexy, jaw-dropping sensibility that blended in with Chloe's bitchy and pretensious and come look at me I'm stunning look.

Plus I love the fact that she is wearing the dress, not vice-versa (Renee's). And she made the simple dress look great (that sensibility reminds of of Carrie Bradshaw/ SJP).

i chose cate blancett because that's the only dress i liked in the whole set.

Cate Blanchett would of course be my first choice, but Renee Zellweger's yellow dress was also quite wonderful. (I believe it was vintage by the way?)
