(Hopefully there isn't a thread like this already. Don't hate!)

I've never been much of a poster person, but I have a poster that my dad owned growing up. He framed it and left it in storage and when we moved into a new house, I decided to have it up in my room:

My brother has this in his room, but I think I'm going to steal it soon because he's already moved out to go to uni. ^_^

I can't find the poster online, but here are the pictures from it. It came in a tube because my mother ordered The Beatles 1 cd from the tele, and the poster came as a bonus.

When I was younger, I had Titanic and two Spice Girls posters.:blush: (But they are still cool.)

Anyone else?

I collect posters of exhibitions (and any exhibitions materials) ...
I don't have a lot ... but still ... something like 50 (and 3 carboxes of exhibitions flyers + 3 shoes boxes) ...

and none of them hang on my walls ...

I used to have a lot of posters in my teens, too. like a huge poster of Jennie Garth from 90210 ... human size ! not ashamed at all ! I never really bought music posters. But I guess I have one or two ...
About music, I want the Joy Division famous poster. But never bought it ! I guess one day I'll buy it !

And I have few fashion posters ...

Oh and I own a small piece of a John Armleder wall-paiting-sticker ...

It kind of feels like I have real potplants and vases with flowers in front of my workspace. B)

These posters for Black Swan are incredible.

I don't have posters on my walls but I have my own art work if that counts :)

I have the posters from French Connection when they started "The Man" & "The Woman" campaign a few seasons ago. I also pick up prints or artworks from conventions though I haven't framed any yet.

I really love posters. Where I live it's really not common to have non-white walls or wallpapers so all my walls are white and it looks very bleak if you don't have any pictures or posters up. (Of course I could just paint my walls but I can't be bothered to do that when I know I'll have to re-paint them white once I move out of my flat)
I really love the idea of poster printing services. I just ordered posters of these images on posterjack.com:

1-3: milesaldridge.com, 4,5: fashionologie.com

I also have some South Sea pictures in my living room but I find those quite boring already because you just see images like that in every furniture shop

I would love beautiful large posters like that in my space. ^

I have been getting too much into music and movie star posters. My room looks like a college dorm.

psylocke, did your order from posterjack.com before? how did it come out? how was the resolution? please let us know how it comes out. i am very curious.

^My posters arrived 5 days after I placed the order and I'm very happy with the posters. When you upload the images it tells you what format would be optimal and what you can expect what the resolution is going to be like. I ordered the McQueen ones in 90x60cm because it told me they would still look perfect this huge and they really do! I should have ordered them smaller though because I can't find frames in that size

I only ordered smaller prints of the other images (45x30cm and 40x30cm) and they turned out great, too. It actually said the Aldridge/Hanne Gaby one didn't have a high enough resolution for the size I wanted but it's not blurry at all and it looks amazing.

runa That firts McCarthy one is stunning!

papa_levante Those Beatles ones are really cool, definite classics. What other posters do you have on your walls?

I got this one on a whim because it was just $5. But I don't like it. It's boring. -_- I like what it says, but it's just bluuuuuuuuue.

I might go back and get this one instead:

How does everyone here keep their posters on their walls? I was afraid to use tacks because I don't want to have to paint over the holes they leave behind once I'm moved out, so I got these at my craft store:

They don't work.

First, they were difficult to peel off of my posters.
Second, my posters kept falling off the walls. It was really pissing me off. I had cut the squares into smaller squares to be "thrifty" but the posters kept falling off. I said, "Don't be cheap! Just use them and buy more," but unfortunately, even without cutting them and using their actual size didn't keep my posters up. :judge:
