wow, this is SOME debate...
i don't think it's ugly, i don't think it's revolutionary (AT ALL)

to put it bluntly, they're just a bunch of satin tops and shorts...anyone could have done them.

yeah...that's true...but i still like the prada version of satin tops and shorts...

but i always liked prada's fall collections much more than it's spring ones...

prada continues her tribalism theme from last season, maybe an abstracted representation of her political identity, or promoting the esoteric sense of "fashion". Not everyone "gets" her shows, but what is there to get, clothes are clothes.

I really almost hate the shoes- the shapes are just half hearted and boring. completely out of sinc with what the other designers are doing, and not revolutionary like she usually is.

I didn't like the fall collection much, though parts of it (the chunky shoes espescially) grew on me-

I like the jewel tones here, and the satin, the tubans make me think of old women with hair loss.

I overall like the clothes-

I love the way Elise Crombez describes the Prada woman, "young and classy but also old and wise." That's the perfect way to describe it. (she says this on the style.com video, by the way)

I agree. I don't think there's ANY model out there that embodies Prada more than Elise. When she was describing Prada....she was basically describing herself!

True. I don't like this season's collection at all. Firstly, I dont know who would love it enough to wear it even. Secondly..oh.. i dont know i just dont like it. I saw the whole collection on style.com and i thought ughhhh.

The clothes in reality would look perfectly beautiful on the street like the high waisted shorts. Especially kicked up a notch with some spacewear from Balenciaga, no?
