about $1900

Here’s some of Prada’s new Washed Bag for Fall/Winter 2007. I don’t have much info about them yet but the leather looks so soft and vintage looking, I’m really feeling this framed Washed Bag.

They're actually quite deceivingly heavy, even the littlest one.
OMG, when I saw your name in this thread I was like "oh no, she wants this bag" THANK GOD. This bag is soo gross, you're wayyy too cool to own one of these.

They look fake and like Prada knocked off another bag. I can't put my finger on it though.

They remind of those bags I always see at cheap mall stands.

I agree; the bag is nothing out of the ordinary.

The first one might look good on the right person, but these are nothing stunning.

I have 2 washed bags. One is a large weekender....and another large size ...both not purses. They are actually really nice in person...not shiney. They age well and can get dirty and wet. I don't like the handbag versions...but for weekenders and large bags for packing they are great. I posted pics of these a long time ago in the handbag thread. mine are really special and neat and use them weekly when I travel. They have gotten beaten up and just look better with time.

but I do hate the smaller ones.

I actually think theyre ok. They're like the antithesis to those stupid 'It' bags with millions of studs/handles/random add-ons. If you want classic and unpretentious style then I can see how they're really appealing.

ahah so much "hate" on these bags...i don't own one and NOT planning to get one...but just wanted to post these for the individuals that may want to know about...heehee...i'm in my "chanel" phaze right now...but i do want the prada nappa gauffre bag...

I love these! I've seen quite a few models toting them in the Model Style thread, especially the last one (my favourite). I love the slouchy, casual style, I think they look fantastic. :woot:

I totally agree Alexandra. I am actually glad that there are mixed views on this bag . I have the last one and every time I use it, I get compliments and people ask me what brand it is. They are actually quite surprised it is Prada. Out of all the bags, this one ages the best. Wet, dry, and looks better the more you carry it. This is what I call the "quiet achiever" . Margherita Missoni is now carrying this bag and she said exactly what I was thinking " we must get over Balenciaga".:innocent:

 I like the first very much! (The others not at all.) I always like framed week-ender bags like that.

You know these are so much more gorgeous in person! The leather is so amazingly soft and they look so well loved and vintage.

The style I saw reminded me of the Chloe Betty, it had all these pockets on it. Very retro, very gorgeous and I really can't stop raving about how soft and amazing the leather was.

i really like these, but i think i'd rather get some annoymous italian made bag to achieve this look rather than spending tousands on it. they're interesting, but nothing breakthrough.

I love the shape of the first one, but I like it better in the regular leather version. Washed bags in general look to me like they're just badly made - if I'm spending that much on a bag, I want to know it wasn't sewn crooked. But there are a few Prada bags I would seriously covet if only I could figure out how to pry that triangle off the front...

I'm not crazy about the design, but I think I would enjoy burying my face in the leather.
