if you go back to early 20's 30's arcitectural sourcebooks there was a 'bauhaus' interprentation of the ethinc/tirbal/african theme, done in a primal tones/shapes (mainly in vases & pottery), very artistic, very minimal, very bold and at the same time refined ..B)

I actually really like the whole "palm" thing, a nice break from the hisbiscus flower but still tropical and fun!
