Really? I actually get more negative vibes from The Crown Princess than Princess Marie... while it's easy to question the intentions of any commoner who marries into a royal family, I haven't been able to get past the rumor that Crown Princess Mary first tried her hand with Prince Nikolaus of Greece before Crown Prince Frederik.

I can't bring myself to dislike Mary, though. She's not nearly as ghastly as that wretched Marie-Chantal. :innocent:

Here's another pic of Mary's handsome husband, Crown Prince Frederik, in uniform from the same suite of pics. He looks very pleased to be there!

And here is the ravissante Princess Marie of Denmark at the same event, looking fabulous, arm in arm with her loving and attentive husband Joachim. Marie is heavily pregnant.

And here is a video of the arrivals. Marie waits for a moment for her dashing, tall husband to whip around the side of the car and give her his arm. Mary and Frederik's arrival is a little less polished - Fred emerges from the kerbside of the car and Mary had to lift her frock and rush around from the far side! It has been posited that Fred wasn't quite trusted, in his 'relaxed' state, to make it from the far side of the car on the day!

^ I wonder why Fred didn't take Mary's arm? He kind of just walked off beside her. It would be nice to see some affection between those two sometime!

i like the colour of the gown and that Tiara is nice although it's a bit over the top, she does look good though!!
that's sad about her and Freddy not interacting, they used to be so in love.. but i've noticed lately he seems really depressed in photos.

Well Princess Marie is pregnant and in a long gown; maybe she needed more assistance than Mary?

Both women looked so lovely! Mary's remarkable transformation is the inspiration for my New Year's resolutions.

That may be true but also chivalry doesn't die when one gets married. It seems to me like Fred didn't even try to give his arm to Mary, nor did Mary look interested in even looking at him at all. She just smiled at the cameras and kept walking. They just don't look like a couple in love to me. They were more affectionate when they first got engaged.

I really liked how Mary had her hair done to accommodate the tiara. Very lovely and regal pairing.

^that dress is amazing, it looks amazing on her! it really does make her look like a million bucks.. perfect fit. i don't like the shoes though, but her hair and make up are fantastic.

I think that it would have been better without that slit-it looks very 90's to me with that slit and the way it is cut. It would have also been better if it was maybe a fit/flare style dress.

I do love her in that Temperley dress though and the tights are perfect with it-I would have worn it the same way.
