This is exactly what i expect them to do at Loewe. The yellowish dress on Binx is gorgeous.

i usually don't care that much when designers reference other designers but these two are so morally bankrupt about it, you can literally guess w very high accuracy what collections/pieces/designers were pinned on their moodboard lol its just an obscene pastiche trying to pass off as something serious and intelligent

the clothes themselves are not awful (the green dress binx is wearing and the first shearling jacket on mica are very nice pieces), but their ethos is non existent these two basically invented chatgpt design before chatgpt was even a thing, I'll take whatever tory burch is doing over this fuckfest, at least is more honest

Me too. Must be a new AI head-hunting thing, which processed looks from hundreds of designers over the last 20 years and compared it with current Loewe best-sellers to find the most similarities, and the computer found them.

This is a great collection come on give them some credit but it's just so over. I'm ready for fashion to move on I want to see some body and skin. I'm guess we're moving into the post quite luxury moment and I'm ready for full luxury but most importantly I'm ready for bodies. Then again they've never done that.

Yeah, Fall 2004 is very much built around giant pockets.

The collection is quite cute even if very “inspired by…”. Loewe has very hard days ahead if they don’t manage to be the Vacarello to J.W. Anderson’s Slimane.

Loewe is a Spanish brand and under J.W. Anderson has that Spanish flair, Ibiza of course but even some Movida Madrilena distant inspo.
I know PS are very good at duplicating, but will they manage to get that taste at Loewe ? I will see on the runway but keep skeptical for the moment.

I mean Loewe's legacy lies in its leather goods and accessories. It was never a leading RTW fashion house. The runways collection serve as more of a backdrop to emphasize the bags and shoes.

However, I still agree that these two queens will come nowhere what JWA was able to achieve. It's too early in the brand's success to hand it over to someone so dull.
