Proenza Schouler S/S 11 New York

Just watched the live stream on style.com and I have to say I liked this collection, but its not my favorite Proenza Schouler collection. I did like the pops of color (the reds and greens).

Proenza will always be Proenza, they never ever disappoint and always stay true to their aesthetics! A+

ETA: also those close-ups of the woman with the kindle cracked me up, especially when you could see what she was reading

It was one of those moment, when I'd love to be a girl.
Amazing collection from A to Z. the coats and jackets were to die for, especially the Grey one on Jac and the pink one on Hanne-Gaby, same for the first white woman suit. Love the green dresses on Joan and Liu too.

Found it really disappointing after how great the last few collections were. It was lacking that Proenza feeling to me. Maybe I'll like it more after awhile.

^I agree that it didn't look much like Proenza, but I did like some of the looks. Overall it was a beautiful collection!

The show was actually really good despite not being what we see from Proenza Schouler. The boys did a good job creating a collection that is very classy and elegant with a modern edge to it. Loved the bold neon colors accenting against the black. The tweed jackets were amazing as well. Ugh, I die for that pink tweed dress. I was a bit skeptic about the shoes, but they did their job looking good on the runway.

I like the use of low-waist and drop-waist here, in contrast to say, Rodarte, who went with high waist. Such a nice contrast. So many piece that are wearable here. I like this collection much better than their fall one!

this collection made me sad, because it is sad. it's a 180 for last season, from tough to prim. there are some very nice looks in there but as an overall collection, it's a miss for me. it's missing the boldness that i expect from proenza. it's so pale and muted, like they turned down the volume for spring. the end got a little bit better. it's not bad, just not what i expected and definitely not the best from them imo.
