Oh  I thought the problem was that the model's lower body is the target and that the legs are widened a bit.

That Candies ad! I can remember seeing that in YM or something when I was 10. The funny thing is I had no idea what it meant at the time (I don't think I even noticed the TV screen), nevertheless I do remember that ad.

^^ yeah it is Josie in that ad with the scar, it looks like she had her appendix removed.

It looks a little high to be from appendix. I had mine removed and though it's on the same side as the appendix, I'm not 100%.

Thanks for clearing it up rogue red!

I hope these don't come out too big!!

^ Yeah I'm pretty sure it's an appendectomy she got, but it was a while ago and the technique was probably different than it is today :flower: **Used to be a big Josie fan back in the days **

Thank you, NNF.

And those large ads just posted... I don't find them offensive. I find them tasteless because the execution of trying to make them seem risqué was poorly done.

HAHHA I love offensice ads! hahaha they are soo funny! haha well some f them but the ones posted before are really funny ahahha

lol, It's funny because I remember them being in Teen People when I was like 12 or 13 and I had no idea what it meant either and didn't really notice it.

What's wrong with it?

See, I didn't know either. A bunch people said it was the woman (and her, uh, position) as a "target" which made it offensive. But when I looked at it for the first time, it didn't strike me that way at all!

And even after it being explained to me, I still didn't find it offensive. I think people were reading WAY too much into a simple advertisement. But that's just my opinion. :D

Well, I'm sure the advertisers knew EXACTLY what they were doing placing her spread-eagle at that spot, but the result is cute IMO. ^_^

terry richardson can't really push it anymore- its a matter of time before araki/mapplethorpe imagary is used...
