As if Ralph Lauren does not have enough money. I would have never left Ralph Lauren to go to SJ. I'm not too sure how it will turn out. I remember seeing a glimpse of what SJ had in store for women a while back at one of his menswear shows and it didn't look too good.

I'm actually interested in seeing what comes out of this alliance.

I was impressed (maybe it was because I had such low expectations) with some of the items Puffy showed on the runway. I never saw these items available in stores with the exception of a a $3000 shearling coat at Bloomingdale's.

I think the line has potential, but I do not think that the target market will be willing to pay such a premium for any Sean John Collection items.

I feel its the same with everybody from high end to low end.

But I wanted to say this to all the PD haters out there. You have to remember he is a business man whether you like him or not. Business people do as they do and he's doing it. Love him or hate him he's playing the game like so many others in a position of power and wealth do. So don not hate the the player, hate the game. sh*t Trump is everywhere and everybody loves him, even with losing his Casinos, he'll get somebody to give him more money for his next venture, which may be baby food, or perfume, who knows.

Now if you guys are paying attention, he seems to be very interested in High fashion, he just backed that other guy, Posen, I believe. He is starting a real fashion and clothing empire, which is not that hard to do if you have cash and a rep with the banks which Sean John has. I see him aquiring more labels and becoming a real power in the industry, mark my words. Also he knows all these people ( designers, owners, models, finance people, he hangs out with them. He is actually a important guy. Why is he important, cause he knows how to make money and others around him money. Thats my opinion anyway.

For the record I am not pro PD. I do admire people that work hard to aquire what they want. My old boss, as terrible a person this guy is did the same thing and he is super big now, and I know his story and i admire his hard work, hate the way he treats his employees. I heard nobody recieved raises last x-mas and he bought a Bentley and A Jet. Thats F--ked up!!!!!

i believe he is good at what he does. i just wish people would give him a break. i really don't believe he was nominated or won the award for his star status. let's wait and see.
