Would you (or have you) purchased the same bag, but in different colors?

I have a Jennifer Scott bag that I love (brown) and I found another one in a pearl white. Am I foolish for buying the same bag again, but in a different color?

If you like it and you can afford it then I say buy it.

I came across a pair of shoes I really liked once upon a time and they were available in black and white and I still regret that I did not buy both colours because I liked them so much.

I do not have two of the same bag but in different colours, but I am planning on buying another Kate Spade 'sam' bag and I already have one in apple green....so I will soon. ;)

everyone's doing it with balenciagas... i do it with chloe too. if you really truly love it, sure...

Yes. The best advice I was given was "if you like it, buy it in every color". Well, maybe not every color. But when you find something you really love, will use a lot, and isn't too trendy (ya know, classics that will keep...since you are buying more than one) than go for it. Just make sure you really like it.:flower:

Yeah, I have the Gucci fannypack in black leather/black monnogram and the red leather w/beige-blue monnogram contrast

I certainly don't think it is foolish at all.

If the design of a piece of clothing/shoes/bags flatters me and i can afford it, I will buy it in whatever colours I like. Have done it before with my shoes and tops.

People can't really tell anyway. It will look like you are wearing different tops/shoes/bags everyday ;)

i never have before-never wanted to before-but i own an indigo medium balenciaga and plan to buy a turquoise medium too.

I have two MJ Venetias in different colors, and, when I find comfortable and stylish shoes for work, I'll buy more than one pair (especially Donald Pliner). There are so few terrific shoes that I can wear at work (my boss's office is three city blocks away) that when I find a great pair, I order a few.

no and no...with all the great bags out there to choose from...i'd rather have a wide variety of options in my closet... :flower:

I agree- I'd rather have more variety.

I have done this with shoes and clothes but not handbag. Anyway, I'm addicated to Balenciaga motocycle bag and look forward to get one more in classic black.

I will do it with say jeans or shirts... causal type things, but I don't like doing it with my shoes or bags. I dunno, for some reason it doesn't feel as special for me if I have more than one coulor in the same bag or shoe.

I have done this with shoes.. I think.. but just like simple flats and stuff in different colors...

and whenever I find a good top and it comes in fun bright colors I tend to buy every color I like... I am my mother's daughter... she always does this!

But with handbags... I go for bright fun colors.. but tend to like more variety like softie and dgie.

I was wondering if you like a designer bag and the design if you purchase it in a few of the colors that are available or do you just decide on one color and stick to one of the bags?:p

I've never done that before, but I guess its common for people to purchase different colors for bags that constantly come out with new colors every season like the Balenciaga motorcyle bag.

I haven't done that with a designer bag (I only have one and it wasn't an "it" bag :p), but I have done it with a well-designed NON-designer bag. Black & red :flower:

Never if it's a trendy, gonna be out in two seconds, bag. But the classics? Certainly! :flower:

I have... 3 bcbg hobos... but I love them.. and they didn't cost much... got two of them for like 1/3rd of the price
