i would love to know where all you people live...the bitchiness exhibited by kimora lee simmons is very commonplace in new york among both the rich and the poor.
i really think there is a strong public backlash against a lot of female celebs that are strong minded and hard-to-please...i've never heard about people like harvey weinstein or any other mogul getting written up for their bad behavior...it's a double standard. a man does it, he's being a take-no-excuses hardball player, a woman does it, and she's a b*tch.
I can see where you're coming from, but for me anyway, I can't stand people who flaunt their wealth and are "diva-like" regardless of sex. For instance, P. Diddy could be considered a sort of male version of KLS. He assumes that because he has loads of money, he can do anything he wants, even if he doesn't know what he's doing. I mean, I was in the theatre district in Manhattan recently and I saw the theatre where 'A Rasin in the Sun' was playing, and outside was a giant poster of P. Diddy. I can't stand the fact that due simply to financial means and connections, he's on Broadway........Same with Kimora, she has a fashion show every season, and why? Cause she has a husband with money and connections, and used to be Karl's "muse". I'm sorry though, that quote about her laughing because her bag was Prada and someone's was Wal-Mart is just disgusting. I have absolutely no tolerence for people who look down on those with less money. It pisses me off, and Kimora's behavior and descisions are very blatent, I mean, is she really so stupid to believe that an ad campaign portraying her rediculously wealthy lifestyle is going to get a good response from people? Or is it a calculated move that's just a person with money thinking that they're above people......
Just realized, this may sound like I'm targeting the "rap"world, I'm not. It's just that unfortunately that's where it's most prominent, at least in popular culture. But what I say here applies to anyone who is classless enough to openly flaunt their wealth in this sort of way is pathetic. If you're rich, have multiple houses, wear expensive clothes, drive fancy cars and wear as much bling-bling as you want, but don't for one minute think that it makes you better then anybody, EVER! (I was on a role, forgive the tone
