Rachel Zoe S/S 2014 New York

Rachel Zoe put her well-merchandised formula in jet-set safari mode for spring, turning out a commercial delight of outfits that belong to the desert voyage genre (safari vests, fluid cargo shorts), and some that had nothing to do with it — a sequined top and matching track pants and an aqua perforated leather minidress.

Improbably enough, several denim looks provided the collection’s most surprising and appealing moments, such as a fitted shift dress and midlength jacket over matching wide-leg jeans with a braided waistband.

It's ok, I'm not gasping or anything. She's not reinventing the wheel and that's not her goal. She's about producing easy, wearable, cool clothes and I think she usually succeeds at doing that.

^Exactly Just a well made, simple collection.

I love the mint mini dress, but IA with what's been said she reaches her goal and her market with her collections all with at least some really appealing pieces.

I love seeing denims it's very Zoe's but a bit modern.

I like the collection. I don't know what her price point is vis a vis the other designers showing at NYFW, but her textiles do look a little more down market than the others.
