The artists are Stanley Donwood and Dr. Tchock (they say the Dr. is the band's singer, Thom Yorke).

Stanley Donwood also writes stories. He has some books out.
For more info: http://www.slowlydownward.com/
You can also find more pictures made by him through google

Stanely is great. I think Thom's main role in the artwork is like a creative director.

i always like the radiohead art, there is so much of it. i love their shirts too because they always have the art one them

this site has a lot of it. OK Computer is my favorite (cd wise and artwise)

Blips

^Thank you for posting that, Masquerade:flower:

I also recommend checking out the RADIOHEAD BLIPS:magic:
I think I heard that they are animated commercials, advertising their new albums.
Here are a few links...

http://www.vapourbrothers.com/blips.html
(There are also other videos at this website. They used to let you see all of blips before...)
http://www.maths.tcd.ie/~mogwai/radiovid.html
http://pulk-pull.org/radiohead/kidablips/

I think several artists worked with Radiohead on these animations. One is a group called SHYNOLA

I used to hunt them like mad when I was in high school. If there are any blips you are looking for, I might be able to find them (if I downloaded them before). Just post a comment;)

I love all the Radiohead artwork..their website has some cool stuff on it as well. It's abstract and unique with a dark sense of humor, like their music..I like!

Ive spent hours getting lost on radiohead.com its wonderful. Check out http://www.slowlydownward.com/ for Stanley Donwood's work. It's just been updated with "London Views" and you can buy some prints here: http://shop.slowlydownward.com/Store/DisplayItems/1.html

Also check out http://www.theeraser.net/ for Thom's "solo" project. There is loads of new artwork there [thanks to Stanley, once again] there are a bunch of pdf files if you click on the open book image at the bottom of the page and then open each cabinet.

This building is the headquarters of XL Recordings [the label that is releasing Thom Yorkes solo album "The Eraser"] in Ladbroke Grove. Stanley Donwood said he "might have" had something to do with it ;)

I think its utterly amazing. Hopefully I can stop by there one day, Id love to see it up close. Really hope they never paint over it!

laisla thanks so much for those links! Just now getting around to searching through them ^_^.....like I stumbled upon a hidden treasure. Such fascinating work!

Thanks for this thread, it's amazing! I love Radiohead, and the artwork is unique and contains so much expression.

So I've never liked Radiohead, probably never will, but I gotta give them props for their beautiful sleeves

i think the cover to The Bends is really interesting. Apparantly Donwood filmed it from a computer, put in on tv, took a photo of the tv, filmed the photo and etc etc. Something like that anywayss....you get the idea.
love Radiohead too. Donwood really knows how to make the art enhance your experience of the music.
