Radiohead

yeah i was referring to that vid :D
someone on ATease said it wasn't his wife but wife of someone from that school or something. i just remember someone clearly dismissing that possibility. that woman seems pretty younger from the woman from the pic. dunno.
thanks for finding the vid, or should i say Hvala since it seems you're from BiH.

Oh well. Still bonus points to Thom for managing all these years to not show her to the public. I hate atease so I wouldn't know about that.
You're welcome. Where are you from?

Atease is pretty hard to handle, at times i go more frequently there but in last couple of months i'm rarely there, still i did menage to find whose wife it is in the vid- it's the wife of a guy from supergrass
as for thom and wife, there were blurry pics of them with noah from italy but they're really too blury and from what i can see in this new pic the woman fits perfectly to that blurry image. and i remember someone posted a vid of noah and thom on youtube (IMO a bit too much) but removed it in a matter of days. though, rachel does put artwork which includes pics of their kids and thom (since she's an graphic artist) on her official page.stilll kudos to both of them for staying so low profile.
i'm from croatia.

o god.. some of the things that go on in the main forum at atease!! and mortigi tempo- that place is full of spam

:innocent:not to mention some weirdly obsessed members in more of an a stalkerish mode that are more than frequent there....

Yeah... Atease and Mortigi Tempo are the main reasons why I hate Radiohead fans. Too much elitism.

like band - like fans :D
though, i must admit i did raise a higher bar after listening RH when it comes to music. it's just that when you see how much good music can get i can't get over the fact how some bands do less and expect more. i'm not really understandable am i?

i totally get what your saying there dajrekshn, my bar has been set wayyy higher ever since i got into radiohead.

so i hear rumors of there being a possible webcast? you know it'd be totally awesome if they did do that for one of the SA shows, like they did for santa barb.

ah yes, someone figured out rachel was in the Knives Out video as well.

how someone could link that picture with her background appearance in the knives out video deserves an award for top stalker. haha

On a more jealous note, I hate everyone who is going to Mexico aghhhh :(

Honestly, I love the song Paranoid Android feverishly, but that's it. I've actually listened to it about 20 times in the past few days, but listening to the rest of OK Computer (or any of their other albums) doesn't really interest me. It's been this way for years; it's really strange. Occasionally I'll develop a marked interest in Paranoid Android which fades after awhile, then returns...

i truly deeply prefer older radiohead than newer songs. like from the bands, i just love every song. and pablo honey is so pure and raw and fresh... and, i still belive that OK computer is masterpiece. cannot get better than that.

If you've listened to their records before and it didn't 'speak' to you in any way, perhaps it never will. :ninja:
I love The Bends, almost by childhood association only, found OK Computer overly commercial.. (or perhaps it wasn't but the songs were too overplayed by everyone that I ended up repelling it).. and I think the only album that's truly my favorite and still challenging is Kid A.. but it's very personal.. there's nothing strange if you don't like it. and at the risk of sounding too condescending, you tend to like some extraordinary musicians, so I'm not really surprised Radiohead, which a lot more accessible compared to Cale or Dylan, is not really your cup of tea as it can be a little 'juvenile' when you're used to less.. embellished.. sounds. You just started in the opposite direction, that's what I'm trying to say. :judge:

i really think classic radiohead isn't in the beggining, more towards the lasts cds. for instance, i have a friend that says she loves radiohead and her favourite cd is pablo honey... i find it a bit confusing.

^i get that way too, jennifer about certain albums. like bjork for instance. i can listen to only one or just bits from certain albums but i can't fall in love with an album in its entirety. and i agree,ok computer is not my personal fave of their body of work. kid a is still top notch in radiohead-land for me as well although in rainbows has inched further to a tie.

Yes, I totally understand your point... I always give something a try that I think I might not like anyway... Sometimes I'm really surprised that way. That's what I was trying to do with Radiohead, probably - and it just didn't work. :P

Scott, oh - Bjork is a source of frustration for me as well, in a slightly different way. I adore her style and her (as a person), but I'm not hooked on her music the same way. Although there was a time I listened to Venus as a Boy many times in a row...
