I wasn't sure where to ask this, but I figured since I can't be the only one that loves Rag & Bone and they don't have a thread in Shop Till You Drop yet I'd start one.

Does anyone have jeans from their fairly new Rag & Bone/Jean line? They all look awesome in online shops and I'd love to get these blood red corduroy pants but have no idea how their sizes run. I don't trust the size guides on shopbop since they'll say it runs true to size for everything when it really doesn't. How do Rag & Bone jeans compare to J Brand, Current/Elliott, etc? Any advice would be much appreciated! :flower:

My suggestion would be to check and see if they have them on NAP - they put up the individual sizing for all items so you check your measurements against the cords.

Unfortunately neither NAP nor Forward by Revolve (which has an accurate sizing guide to each item as well) have them on their site yet. But thanks for the tip! :flower:

I really like their coats and parkas.

their fall 2010 collection was styled so well, i love it!

OMG I just bought a couple of f/w runway pieces and some of the summer stuff they did w/ an outside artist.

I can't get enough of the styling and quality!

Does anyone know where to get these Rag & Bone loafers?

either the red or the tan? I called the Rag & Bone stores in NY and they are all but gone except a few small and large sizes. And then lagarconne had the tan version which are sold out now. I'm wondering if perhaps Barneys or anywhere like that may have them? I know someone will tell me to just get the Bass version, but I really like the shape (slightly tapered toe) and the leather (esp the red). Thanks!

^You should try Barney's if you're still looking, they have the largest collection of Rag & Bone I've seen, at least in LA. And they're pretty good about ordering things for you even if they don't stock them (I've had them order a few M Missoni things even though the LA store only carried the original Missoni line at the time).
I adore their blazers, the tailoring is fabulous. The Off 5th outlet in Camarillo always has lots, but always in weird sizes.
On the other hand, I was given a raincoat by them for Christmas and although it was a size 2, it was utterly shapeless and boxy. I guess that was the "look", but it wasn't flattering at all, so I returned it.

I like the Razor jacket a lot, but I'm not sure if I want to buy it online because I can't return it, and I'm not sure if the available size is right. I can't buy it in stores here.
Online the jacket is only available in size 4, which over here in Europe would be size 36. For my upper body I usually need a size small/36. So I thought I was lucky and size 4 could be just right for me.
However, I now understand that European size equals French size (?). In that case, I would be a French size 38 and need the jacket in size 6. The only size available is 4.

Who can give me advice on what to do?

^ Also, do you think the jacket on the model is legit?
I'm not if it's quiet the same as the one in this picture (which is identified as the Rag & Bone razor jacket)...

rag&bone jeans fit amazingly well and they are true to size. many j brands i feel size small but not these order your usual size and intermix has an amazing pair which is waxed! highly recommend!

^I guess I'll finally have to get used to the vanity sizing of American jeans brands because I think J Brands run huge compared to traditional Italian sizing  But thanks a lot for the info. I still haven't actually bought those burgundy pants because I'm waiting for them to go on sale or at least until I get a good coupon for shopbop.

Katrien have you decided what to do about the jacket yet? If you're really that unsure about the size then it might be best to just pass on that jacket. I think if it was a sweater or a dress or something with some stretch in it it would have been worth ordering it anyway but a blazer should really be a perfect fit in order to look good .
And yes, I do think it's the same blazer in that GG pic. It looks like Blake sized up a lot, though. I like the blazer much better on the model.

^ I only saw your message now!

I've decided to take the risk and order the jacket. I still have to wait a little while before it will arrive and I can try it on.

Right now I'm a little afraid it might not fit as my upper body is so small these days that I need the smallest size in blazers in stores over here (a 34). But according to the conversion charts the US size 4 might still fit.
If it is too large, hopefully it will still look good as a boyfriend blazer, or I can have it tailored. And if none of those are options I will try to resell it...

^Oh hey, that's great. I really hope the blazer fits you ^_^
