Normally I find Rianne really bland but I'm digging the punkish Mick Jones attitude of this cover. The 80s styling with paper bag pants, big shoulders completely overdone at this stage but Rianne does pull this off!

However, the whole 'This Year in 1984' is a ridiculously self-righteous, trite segue into yet another damn excuse to reproduce archival images simply for the sake of it. Magazines say something new!

Rianne doesn't look like in the right place. She doesn't have a strong personality for this and she looks uncomfortable in the cover. All the covers by Jürgen Teller are awesome.
