^^Eclectic is my personal style key word! ;)

makes two of us susie ;)
*it actually means one who's been choosing the very best (trendwise it means the best of each 'trend' and secondly it means one is not blindly 'stuck' in one style.. comes from greek word so i know where it comes from ;)

*fresh is no new at all, its actually 'old' personally i used it as my collection title for ss2000 so go figure.. there are too many 'fresh' refferences when one is talking about something.. new or ..FRESH

*Du Jour is used but it means more 'of the moment' not neccesarily 'trendy' more like 'here today gone tomorrow' as in 'passing trend'

*old school i like this expression and i use it a lot, but none of those terms are 'fresh' really...

i'd try and think some of the real new 'fashion words' popping up in Paris this season... and return to this topic later :ninja:

There's a phrase which I hear quite often in East Asia... "Sharp"

I guess it's used to denote someone who's well put together..it has positive connotations.

Hopefully somebody here can explain this one to me...

What exactly do the words "romantic" and "poetic" mean in terms of fashion design? I see these words used repeatedly, in both magazines, books & here at TFS, to describe Anne Demeulemeesters' work...

Huh?
