Return of the coloured wayfarer

Thsoe in the know will know they are designer, but the kind of people who buy sunglasses from petrol stations in the first place will just see them as just another pair of cheap glasses. I dont want people thinking i wear cheap crappy glasses thank you very much X
I  cheap and crappy glasses, and this trend is perfect!

i will cry if these really become popular in any major way...these remind me of the prada key chain thing...cute for a little while but too expensive to be as playful as they're meant to be.
Unlike the prada thingie this can be bought for a dime and still look good. I liked the prada robot for 2 weeks and then I was already sick of it. I'm glad I never bought it. Where are they anyway? Do you see anyone still wear them?

I don't really like them, since they look too much like 3D glasses to me :p .

Well I think they can look quite brilliant when worn correctly. :p

Case study: Francoise Hardy

I kind of like them. I'd wear it if it was in a low key, flattering color. Like crystal blue or grey. ^_^
who is that? is it may andersen?
if so that's a major clue.

francois hardy is right on untouchable.

Oh, that's what those glasses are called. I wish my mom hadn't thrown away her burgandy ones from the eighties!

ugh

for the love of god, would fashion trends please stop following the people who don't want to be followed ? wayfarers are a classic look that will never really go out of style, unless they become adopted by every tight low-cut jean fake ripped punk t-shirt scenester kid in the world. i've already had to endure the pain of being mistaken for some emo hipster wannabe, i was hoping that ray bans and drew carey style freeway frames for regular glasses would be poindexter enough to keep pop-punk from following. apparently pop-punk has no respect for the real punks, or maybe a little bit too much in the "emulate your favorite celebrity" kind of way.

-a bitter punk with nowhere left to go but khakis and cableknit sweaters, apparently

iheartny, those are the exact ones i wanted! but i don't know if alexander is actually producing those or if they were just used to style the shoot..

I don't think I'd be able to pull them off, but I still LOVE them because they're just fun and colourful :]

The best ones are the original RayBan Wayfarer and the ones from Luella.
Cheaper lookalikes from Urban Outfitters (or any other chainstore, UO had the best ones though), but they doesn't look too great.
