I kinda like it. The stark, graphic black/white dresses have an unexpected lightness about them... which happens occasionally, with sheer fabrics. Still, a wise choice...
The show was wonderful ... although I don't know how enchanted I would have been with it if I had only just seen these photos. The textiles were so gorgeous and to use a dirty, dirty word, everything seemed wonderfully modern. My only issue with it was that a few of the looks in the middle got a bit redundant... for a second I was paying more attention to the models than the clothes
I love so many things about Owens jackets, the fabrics, colors, cutting but....
HE REALLY NEEDS TO TAKE A REALITY CHECK WITH THE BOTTOMS. No woman would want to look like this (I hope). How he manages to distort extremely thin models into oozing blobs is a MYSTERY and his choice of footwear is just plain cruel to the eyes...
Still, I'm happy to see him interject some print into his oeuvre too.
im a sucker for the clean/almondy whites .. they got such a nice aesthetic .. everything above the waist so far is looking really good . I share the sentiments about the bottoms .. ugh
i love these! however, i think it's a good case to illustrate the rule of not wearing a designer head-to-toe :-) i could not wear some of these bottoms. but the tops, yes!
I agree with the other comments regarding the bottoms. I'm hoping it's just because the lengths are all off and if a normal person were wearing it, it would look better.
