well it's definately a RO. I've seen it in black and it's gorgeous. It was also on sale on nap in black until late January- but i've forgotten the price sorry (maybe in the 600's - in pounds). I think it was at least 30% off so you can definately get it at a cheaper price if you hang in there. Just a matter of finding it at that.

if you're located in Paris, you're lucky!

edit: i see you're a guy...he makes great jackets for men as evidenced in this thread

I just found this leather jacket on yoox and ordered it immediately. Have no clue what season it's from but hopefully it looks as good in person. Also hope the size is ok as they only had this one in a size 40.

Apparently this jacket is RO, so is it possible to have more pics of it ? Because this is the first time i've a sort of crush on a jacket  and i'm seriously thinking about getting it, no matter what i have to do :ninja:  Do you happen to know its name if it has one, and how much it costs ?

Here's one on ebay right now :flower:

ooo...Velony, i'm eager to hear what you think when it arrives and how it fits. It looks very nice, very flattering

I agree. That's something I'd also wear even though I'm a femme.

hey all, i just got my ro spring 08 black funnel neck jacket with espresso lining, the leather is very thin and smooshy like i expected. however, get this, this model ran large IMO. i have a couple of ro size 38 jackets, very hard to find, as you all know... they all fit like a glove. they are older models from 2002.

this one is very generous. extra long sleeves, even longer than my other ro jackets, and room in the body. it is not going back to italy. hmmmm. have you all found ro generous in sizing this season?

btw, to all the girls who told me to order a 38, thanks! a 40 would not have worked. i was just freaking out that it would be too small. not the issue...........

Hey chauss! It's good to see you here;)

I bought the same jacket from Luisaviaroma, and I bought a 40 and pretty happy with it. I'm tiny, I'm an US size0, and I normally wear RO 38, but wanted the option of layering a thin cashmere sweater underneath.

I've been buying Rick Owens since 2002, and I have over 10 of his leather JKs, but I didn't find this one to be particularly generous. Yes, the arms aren't snug and tight, but it seems to be running just like the other RO jackets in 40 I have....

hey tooshies, how are you? i already sold my 38. the girl thanked me profusely for telling her it ran big. she almost bought a 40 and was sooo glad i was honest (she said usually a 38 was too tight for her, but this one was perfect). she loves it, so it was meant to be.
anyway, i have ro jackets from 2002 also. you and i have similar taste, ms. bal.B) they are all 38 and this one was much wider in the body.

I'm doing good thanks:heart: I haven't seen you in a while on tPF~

Oh, no, I didn't mean to challenge you in any way, I guess we felt differently about how this JK fits. I normally wear 38 like you, but I'm actually pretty happy with the way this one fits. I wanted the option to layer underneath^_^ since all my other ones are snug. Hum, come to think of it, maybe the body is roomier than my other JKs...I have to go compare now:blush:

LOL You and I really do have similar taste, I just bought a Givenchy Nighingale:rolleyes:

etro, woohoo...that is a really fantastic look. one of my favorites you've posted.

has anyone seen the current dark shadow collection...such an interesting direction he has gone with this, he's on a roll these days. most notable are the hooded sweatshirt and this denim vest. of course the fantastic photography doesnt hurt a bit.

I've never really been a fan of his dark shadow collection, but this vest I love... I'm really loving the new polished, deconstructed direction his taking.

tooshies (great screen name, btw),...thanks very much. I received the vest and it is really quite an awesome garment. it looks great with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath and even my black leather owens jacket. Oak has quite a nice collection of dark shadow this season as does pollyana. this is a banner DS season.
