thanks Leyla m for your reply! i think that called it "shroom" leather on NAP, i'm assuming thats referring to the color name? its such a gorgeous combination of color! yea I'd love to track one down... but every stockist has different styles and colors, is there a store that stocks the full range somewhere that do international orders? no way anywhere in NZ will have this i'm sure. =(

I just tried out another gorgeous one at the local store in the weekend... $5.5K which is about USD$3.2K!!! its gorgeous! its the exact same one as the one thats on the Browns website thats on sale in cream version (and I think Fashionpoison posted mod pics of her wearing a black one at Maxfields a few pages back), but the one i tried on is black with cream sleeves. the mark up here is ridiculous!

for the $5.5K I should've got the one from LVR (sorry cant attach my bmp for some reason) a while back when they took orders, a similar version, the double zips, with the cashmere hood and leather flared side panels and sleeves... does anyone remember seeing it on LVR a couple of months ago? I wonder if our local store here will eventually get it... although I know the mark up will be double yet again ... should've got it from LVR when i had the chance, it would've worked out to be over $1K cheaper than this current one I want!

do you guys suggest getting that mushroom colored one (if I can find it) or the double zip one from Browns in the cream or the local stores over-priced-by-$2K black with cream sleeves one? I'm dying here trying to decide.... or hold out for that cashmere hooded one?

I think I lost my rick owens jacket I wanted to wear it today and I have no idea where it went. The only thing I can think of is that I may have left it at my old apartment since the clean up guys came a day early but I was sure I had everything. I looked everywhere but I really hope it shows up somewhere

thanks for the nice words everyone! I will check again in storage and hope I find it. My mom is looking for it at her house too. I love it enough to buy another one but I definitely have better things to spend my money on than I already purchased.

the one thing i wish i could afford this season is the beige moto leather jacket..its like 2800 or something like that..its my dream to own one of his leather jackets..

i even like the jacket with just the leather sleeves..but i want to buy so many other things this season that I just cant spend that much on just one jacket...

besides he makes a variation of those type of jackets every season right?
