Aargghh. Tried on this jacket the other day. Fit is fantastic. The leather is not very luxe, IMO, but is very cool-looking and "street" if you know what I mean. Tough. I love the dogleg zipper.

Nobody makes jackets like Rick.

The jackets that are in shops right now aren't very good (for men) so if you found one you like go ahead. What was the material? Calf or blistered lamb?

I got my third RO leather during Paris men's fashion week, black calf high collar w. x pockets, I now can wear an RO jacket pretty much all year long as I got three different weights (say spring maybe summer evenings, autumn and winter)

Just a random thought: I bought my blister leather biker jacket from Net-A-Porter back in October '09 and the price I paid was $2695 USD. However, if you look at the NAP site today, the very same jacket is now only $2070 USD (regular price) on NAP. Interesting how much the price has dropped...and it's not even on sale! It's great for anyone in the market for a RO jacket, but it makes me a little mad that if I had just waited one more season, I would've saved $600!!! Grrrrrrr.

I know! I was wondering why that was. The price of RO leather JKs have been skyrocketing since 04, and suddenly the price dropped closer to what it was used to be......very weird I wonder if it has anything to do with the current economic climate?

thanks. Just not sure about the potentially disasterous back zipper. If only he brought the back pocket laptop holder back.

And don;t be too jealous; I paid a combined 1k for the 2 I have (although that may incur more jealousy).

if you're on number 3 why not make it a stretch and get the most different from the other 2.
