The dress is better on the body than in the mannequin, it will probably look great if worn with a long black funnel neck in winter too. Good buy Muxu.

trying to decide if i should trade my calf funnel neck for a neo-blistered version of the same jacket. thoughts?

that's my fear. sizing is so f'd up. i have RO leathers in l and xxl. need the xl in neo blister for chest and shoulders but afraid i will look stay puff in it

ya i wouldn't get it. they sell for crazy cheap too. like even an xs only goes for like $600 on yahoo.

i'm in love.... (my own photo)

Juno those are my dream RO boots! I own these and love them:

Wearing them here, with an RO cashmere poncho actually:

But I saw a girl wearing yours and she convinced me that I have to buy those as well, so those wedge boots will be my next RO pair for sure.

^^ great! thanks for sharing with us

@ Muxu - you and this dress are a beautiful combination

kokopuff, love the picture of your outfit. I too, hope to get my hands on a pair of RO wedges soon...

Those boots are beautiful

and tooshies is right - I only have one piece of rick owens but its only made me more obsessed! :D

I wore my mummy wedges last week and realized how comfy they are. I'm so glad that winter is over and I can finally wear them again. Now it just has to get a little warmer over here so I can wear my leather jacket too.

Has anyone checked out RO's Slab line? Kind of tempting for a quick, less spendy RO fix but wondering if the fit and draping is at all comparable to his high-end line.

I'm sure Slab was discontinued and turned into DRKSHDW if I'm not mistaken; I'm sure the quality and fit is comparable to current DRKSHDW pieces.

I am thoroughly excited to say that I have just received my first Rick Owens piece. It is a jacket from wool jacket from Stag and I am in love. I'll try to get fit pics up soon.

Yes, Rightguard is right, Slab was discontinued right around the time Lilies was introduced, followed by DRKSHDW line. Personally, I like DRKSHDW much better than what RO did for Slab. I do own a hoodie cardi from Slab, and the druid DRKSHDW hoodie, and I much prefer the druid one.

P.I.: You look phenomenal!!!!!! LOVE the boots and JK, I'm actually planning on getting the cutout wedges soon...Are those shorts RO too?

^Thanks tooshies and everyone else for their kind words :flower:
My drop crotch pants aren't from RO, I got them off a seller from Etsy.

hello everyone!^_^

i was wondering if there were any men on here who actually own the RO wedges? im curious to know the sizing on his mens version of the boot, and the quality/durability. im very tempted to buy them right now... but being that i am a boy, who actually wears his boots, i dont want to spend so much money on a cool pair of wedges that i'll totally annihilate.

advice????? thanks!

also does anyone know what his FW10 black (python?) wedges might retail for?? perhaps i should just start saving for those....

@Chicgarcon: RO wedges (for men) run a little bit larger than normal shoes, but i won't recommend you to take one size down because, let face the truth, you will wear a pair of high heels so you will need a little bit more of space for your own comfort.
They are really well-made but some people reported some issues with the stiches (i didn't have the same problem though). And if this is the first time u will wear a pair of wedges, take your time. I suggest you to try the wedges on a hard surface before buying them. And don't presume because they are comfortable you can walk all day in it.
And i asked the SA at the Palais Royal store today, the python wedges will be very limited with an expected price of around 3500 euro.

Hope this helps

3500 euro. YIKES

about sizing up on the wedges... personally, I find that with any shoe on a platform surface, or any heel in general, it is best to get a size which fits snugly on the foot. The closer the fit, the more support and structure.. and less wobbling/stumbling while walking or going up stairs, etc. (but of course, in the end, it is all about personal preference.) :flower:

I concur with Inaya.
I normally take a size up(I'm a 36 and take a 37)in flats/flat boots, because I like to put insoles inside for extra cushioning and I do like a bit of room to stretch. But for heels/platforms, if it's one size up, my feet just slide to the front and it just gets too uncomfortable....so I take my true size, usually.

I would LooooVE the python wedges(for women), but 3.5K euros is way too out of my price range!
