Such a nice surprise from Cavalli! Love the extremely luxurious and glamorous Bohemianism!!! It would be a dream to own them in the wardrobe  The layering gives a really rich texture, and not to mention the fabulous makeup :heart:

For me this collection is the epitome of what Cavalli does best:woot:, rich bohemian luxury, the animal prints are done just right, the brocades are so luxurious:heart:, the gauzey dresses are the perfect mix of efforless boho and glamour, perfection:flower:

After watching the video i`m still sure, that it`s my favourite collection of this week.
Adorable dresses, fur coats and shoes!

this is so right
the detailing is glamorous, rich and polished
but I wonder how the clothes would look without that superb styling alone, because I think the styling creates all the magic and greatness about the collection

This is an A list collection from Cavalli
Nobody does bohemian luxury better than him,he's a master in doing this
I love how everything looks SO luxurious!
The styling is pretty rich and I'm sure the individual pieces will look even better in real life!
Definitely one of the best this week

^^^^^^
exactly what i was thinking! like bohemian 70's rock chick kinda.

this has not happened in a very VERY long time. we will finally have come to a time where we can march down madison avenue and each store front will not find itself a tweaked-around-the-edges regurgitation of the same trends. donna will be donna again. and prada will be prada again. and, oh, roberto. roberto will be rebellious roberto all over again. when one thinks roberto, one thinks crazy animal prints fur, small bikinis, rock star, over the top, glam. and this collection gave us all of that and more. for the trained fashion eye, all of the trends got hit -- from the pants to the right animal prints -- and for the retailers this collection is a pot of gold -- with coats and boots and bags and gowns. but what i love about this collection is his strident return to the DECADENCE which we associate with his name. no one does this better than roberto cavalli. i mean, who else makes a coat that even COMPETES with this?

If you scrape back the mile-thick styling, I think there are some nice clothes.

Minus the real fur (such a shame it's not faux), this is damn good!

Definitely his best since A/W '06 and the very best of Milan, this season, IMO.

If I had one criticism (other than the fur), it would be that he may have favoured the lighter colours, over the dark, just a little too much; but it's a very small criticism.

When he's good he's really good! :D

the fur is just over kill though , i mean im no peta advocate but this is just too too much, it looks crass . Cavalli IMO wont be able to top his Spring 2008 show which had the Louvre in the background .

^ Oh no, ITA re. the fur.

I'm very anti-fur, actually (not visually, just ethically), so if I'm going to appreciate a collection, at all, these days, I just have to try to ignore it (which isn't easy!).

I really wonder how many people like it?

I'm sure I see far more anti-fur comments, on here, than pro and I know quite a few people who will avoid a design house which uses fur, or an entire collection, just because it contained fur.

Really don't know why more designers don't use faux?

The good quality stuff can be extremely luxurious and convincing, after all.
