In keeping with the brand’s DNA, Roberto Cavalli again embraced a very rock ’n roll theme for pre-fall. “This collection features a patchwork of different inspirations and atmospheres I experienced in my life,” said Cavalli, who pointed to Florence’s craftsmanship tradition as an important point of reference for his opulent lineup. Fur took center stage here, with the pattern on a beaver, lapin, kidassia and shadow fox fur coat matching the print on a silk tunic and pants.
Cavalli also revisited his signature baroque motifs, working them in a more graphic, artsy version, which was demonstrated in the degradé print on a fitted silk dress, while he injected a feminine, sensual mood into a velvet three-piece tuxedo.
