Roberto Cavalli S/S 2009 : Daria Werbowy and Freja Beha by Inez & Vinoodh

This campaign would've been better with Natasha. Daria it's gorgeus but as a model today she has little interesting things to offer, otherwise, Natasha it's at her best and can impersonate in an excelent way the spirit of the Cavalli women, and the woman that wears Prada.

Eva Herzigova also weared this dress at a Chopard party.

actually i think daria has still something to offer, but certainly not in this kind of modeling. natasha would have offered a softer interpretation, less robotic, more naturally sexy i think.

she looks like "omg I'm so rich and everything that I have to be smeared with gold and diamonds". which is a good thing imo.

It's good to see Daria on campiagn, and still she is such a star.

its a nice ad...it markets the dress and brand well though her face and legs are too golden sprayed

didn't something similar with the dress happen last season with Isabelli? The dress she wore in the first ad then was not from the season it was advertising, I think. So maybe something similar is happening now :).

then it's perfect,cause that Cavalli for ya:lol:

Daria??? With that blond hair I thought for a moment that this pic was part of the Versace campaign:lol:

Seriously, I love this campaign.

^^^ Are they joking with this?

It's clearly inspired by those 60's pinups ie. Marilyn Monroe.

But how exactly is this the Roberto Cavalli aesthetic? He needs to stop experimenting with 'new sexuality' and 'sensuality' and go back to HIS aesthetic ie. raw sexuality dressed in leopard prints  :ninja:

holy Cr*p..what is that??...but i like daria in that way, eventhough it looks trashy! :)

I hate this last shoot is very ugly

Well, I know that the myth machine has done its best with regards to Marilyn Monroe but considering her rep during her lifetime she and Cavalli suit each other perfectly. (It's not as if she was some kind of Grace Kelly as far as public image went.)

This ad is very underwhelming print especially when it follows YSL.
