Roberto Cavalli S/S 2009 : Daria Werbowy and Freja Beha by Inez & Vinoodh

Roberto Cavalli s/s 2009

Daria & Freja
by Inez and Vinoodh
styled by Marie Amelie Sauve
hair by Luigi Murenu

it seems as if the ads are a transformation from Daria to Freja
at first she has brown hair..then as the we get less sexy and more girly
it turns blonde hair daria to freja

I only like the third shot with Daria. on the other hand Freja's shots are all nice, she looks good as a blond

I wasnt too fond of that green hooded number on the runway but its actuall the onlyshot I like of this campaign, its has a cool 70s feel, Im really dissapointed in the rest, and it was such a great collection too.

Thanks to Luxx I can now appreciate this campaign to its full extent. I think it's the best Cavalli campaign in a long time....the humor is lovely...though assisted by Luxx

unfortunately, freja is only on 3 pics...

Thanks for posting! A great set, although a bit boring.

What is the humor in this campaign? I'm afraid I don't get it.

Who is the male model in this shot? I love his look!
I'm sorry, I saw that shot and could not resist.
LOL thank you for making my visit to this thread worth it.

the frog...

I'm suprised to see that they used Freja for the underwear shot. Freja is not the type of model i'd normally associate with Cavalli underwear.

the frog...

I know about the frog, I am not talking about the frog. I remember seeing a comment about someone saying they loved the humor about the campaign and how not to take it so seriously.

i don't get what are they trying to tell in this campaign. but i'm glad that daria got it as well as freja. :)

I could have misread it, but I think all the comments about the humour in the campaign in the last couple of pages were because of the frog.

Were Meisel and I&V inspired by the same Monroe imagery, or were I&V inspired by this Meisel shoot. Eitherway I immediately thought of the Cavalli campaign when I saw the this Meisel ed.

i dont understand the theme for this campaign..
who looks at his clothes n thought Marilyn Monroe..
