Roberto Cavalli S/S 2013 Milan

Surprised!!!!! This is fantastic, truly gorgeous collection.

Aw, much better than last season. What a stunning collection! The details are precious and I love the fact that it's easily recognizable as Cavalli.
Everyone's going B&W/neutral in Milan this season...

Finally! Something to drool over! Great collection! Reminds me a bit of SS12 with the different textures and fabrics, but still stunning. The details are just divine.

it is absolutely beautiful until halfway through where the boring black and white come in and then it just gets ruined!!

the first 20 or so looks are the best in milan this season though, i LOVE the print and colour and the laser cuts, sunglasses, bags, everything :D

I'm loving all of this. Fantastic collection.. and such a turnaround from last season. Job well done. One of my seasonal favourites, for sure.

It's hit and miss for me, but given that Cavalli is often just a miss for me (not to my taste), that's a positive review. There are some nice dresses here, in particular.

There hasn't been much to oogle over in Milan but this is pretty good. Come to think of it, I can't actually recall the last time Cavalli has produced a "bad" collection from my point of view (although the gold looks of S/S 2012 weren't particularly enjoyable).

I'm not big on print mash-ups, but they are done well here. What I really love are the fringed trousers, the suits on Liu and Fei Fei and the darker closing looks. Best of all had to be the tiger jewelry, especially those stud earrings , didn't even notice them at first!

I thought this was an interesting step forward for him. It was very chic and very Italian, which is more than I can say for the other "Italian" houses in Milan. I loved the way he worked the back of the looks, and had interesting details. It was sexy but it was tasteful and it had the perfect balance between historicism and modernity. Bravo!

The first half, except for the whites, were really bad! It looked so tacky! The colored prints seemed like fillers to the collections. But when the second half came in, with the blacks, things got really serious! The second half with the blacks were amazing! Chicness at its best with the essence of Cavalli! Definitely the highlight of the collection.
