Well it hasn't knocked my socks off, but at least it's a somewhat return to form for Cavalli.
The girls look like dandy fops....although some of the layering and accessories are a little confusing and I could have done without the MC Hammer pants. The floaty dresses are really nice. Not bad so far.
Mr-Dale I completely agree. This isn't terrible and it isn't painfully tacky, but I was surprised to see all the positive comments. It just doesn't have as much pure glamour as it has in the past The long dresses look very nice though-I love them.

I have to third this. It isn't ugly, but I'm not quite seeing what everyone else is... I've seen much, much worse from Cavalli, but also much better. Must be a result of the all around disappointment of Milan this season.
Its super amazing this time
the last season was terrible, but the last f/w was great
this is superb! I just adore the pirate barroque thing, very mixed up
very full of thing, like a mish mash of rich textures and parterns
super rich, but in a relaxed bohemian way
I love it...for me this time, they won over donatella
I'm not crazy about the peasant dresses...I don't know if Cavalli should be doing more of those dresses...they're tired and don't feel "now."
But besides those, I actually find quite a lot here appealing and beautiful. At first I was concerned that the clothes looked good solely on styling (since there is so much going on in each look), but on further inspection, there really are some gorgeous pieces mixed together.
