I just love how much Kim loves fashion and concepts, and I admire how much effort she puts into her fashion shoots. Skims have given us more superior campaigns than most high fashion campaigns - this included.

The first campaign image is very reminiscent of Steven Meisel’s Versace campaign but I’m not complaining!

Not sure what there is to hate about this - it's fun and doesn't take itself seriously lol. I love Nadia Lee Cohen, she is definitely inspired by the likes of Meisel, Avedon, Cindy Sherman, and LaChapelle but it's always very her. The Skims campaigns and the one she did for Dsquared are fantastic (I wish Balenciaga allowed her to flex her talents more). In the sea of studio campaigns and lackluster art direction, I appreciate something with actual set design and investment in a creative direction.

It's over the top and kitsch, which is exactly why it works. It's kind of fabulous, actually. I would like to see these women on screen. Just imagine the conversations and storylines... The mother-daughter dynamic could be like a twisted version of Grey Gardens meets Kath and Kim with a pinch of Italian excess. I would watch it!
