and she is! in fact, i prefer connie than vera, but both were crazy in their own way and both were very cool. it's shame that's very difficult to find pictures of connie

rockstar groupies were so cool back then when the nineties came they all turned into sluts wtf!! miss the good ol' days.
but i don't know much about the ramones girlfriends but seeing those pics of vera i'm totally interested in who they are thank you again

^me too. i think that the "sl*t" thing started in the mid-80s. that girl, savannah, she was a groupie and ALSO a p*rn star. and had another one, i guess it's bobbie brown, she wasn't a p*rn star, but looked exactly like a sl*t.
i think it's really sad, because the old groupies were amazing, stylish and really cool and who don't know the real groupies, can think they didn't pass of hookers. it's awful.

connie ramone: for sure, the most crazy groupie that ever existed. forget about all the nancy spungen's stories. after knowing connie, nancy don't pass of a copy (ok, maybe not).

and have pics of connie with dee dee ramone and arturo vega (scanned by me from please kill me) and another one with arthur kane (my print from all dolled up).

in 1973, the new york dolls had a tour in california (when johnny thunders met sable starr), but the idea of going to california was of connie and she got nuts when arthur kane (the bass player, her boyfriend at the time) said to her that he didn't money to take her with him, so in the middle of the night - connie got a snife and she almost cut his finger out. that's why arthur didn't play in california, peter jordan replaced him.
she also had a lot of fights with eileen polk, a punk photographer, who was interested in arthur kane. they really had a lot of fights. and when connie started to date dee dee ramone, eileen polk also was interested in dee dee too! then, the fights started to be even worst.
someone here already read please kill me? there, syl sylvain, cyrinda foxe, dee dee ramone, eileen polk, arturo vega and others talk a lot of things about connie. it's really cool.

in the 80s, connie (who was a heroin addict) became a hooker. dee dee wanted to help her, but she always ran way from him. she died in the late 80s, i think it was in 88 or 89.
she had an overdose and died.

another famous girlfriend was linda ramone. in the 70s, she used to date with joey ramone, but in the 80s, she left him to stay with johnny ramone.

this is the only picture i got of her, it's from 1978 and linda was with joey yet. i took this picture of a ramones book.
