that's right! i mean, bebe and cyrinda were the most beautiful, he didn't need other girls!

I think Cyrinda was gorgeous. Bebe was pretty. When I look at photos of her, she was kind of plain. There's nothing about her or her features that are striking. Does anyone know what I mean? She's not ugly, but she's also not a stunner. Pamela des Barres was prettier than Bebe, in my opinion, particularly when her hair was long, blonde and wavy. She had this ethereal, fragile beauty about her that jumps out at you, whereas Bebe did not. Then, you have to factor in Bebe's ego, and that makes her ugly to me.

but i totally agree with you. bebe's ego makes me sick of her. she's always remembering in interviews and stuff who she met, who she dated.. i mean, this is so boring. i like bebe, but her ego is a huge problem.

It's the way Bebe is so jealous of other females. Making fun of Cyrinda for being "fat" and stretching out her clothes. She made fun of Pamela des Barres quite a bit too. But Pamela respects all the other female groupies on the scene, and befriended pretty much all of them, and has nothing but kind things to say about them in her most recent books. Pamela is a much better writer because she shows that she is vulnerable and that you can relate to her, whereas Bebe comes off as condescending. Seems to me that Bebe can't get along with other females because she's very jealous and insecure. And also delusional, with the Elvis Costello obsession, which was super creepy on Bebe's part, imo.

Wow, yeah Steven can do a lot better.............!!!! And damn does he still look beautiful! I don't caRE what anyone says about him...people think I'm nuts, but I always found him simply beeeaaauuuutiful!

Yes, it was in her book. She said Cyrinda would try on all of her clothes and leave them in a pile on the floor, with the zippers broken b/c she was much larger than Bebe - according to Bebe.
The "Little Red Corvette" episode w/ Elvis Costello was really weird.
The whole thing about her wanting a singing career is laughable. She complains all the time, saying she wanted to be the next Debbie Harry, and "Where the hell is MY Chris Stein?" Then I saw/heard her singing on some show years ago, and she didn't have the pipes. Not even close.

yeah i read that about cyrinda in bebe book an obvoiusly it's some jealousy i rolled my eyes it sounded like some high school myspace cattiness "ooh she broke my zippers she's fat!" which is bull because cyrinda is and was far from being fat and cyrinda was probably the most stunning groupie ever she looked like marilyn and was so rocker bebe wishes she was like.
i've heard some of bebe's music and she doesn't have a good voice but there catchy songs i guess due to the talent of the musicians behind her. and bebe is faaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr from being debbie she just do like the rest of us and just sit and watch because she can not recreate debbie.i love bebe i think she's pretty(not stunning) and some parts of the books made me giggle and the rest made me feel like i was back in the junior high.

Cyrinda was such a stunning beauty. I will try to dig up some photos of her one day, but I think everyone here has posted pretty much every photo of her available. She looked gorgeous even at the end of her life too. She aged really well, and I am glad that she lost the weight that had bothered her so much right after she and Steven divorced. I feel sorry for Mia for losing her mother at such a young age.

I must be the only one who does not find Steven attractive at all. Different strokes for different folks, eh?

Yes, Cyrinda was a stunning beauty until the end. Her Marilyn look was really something. Classy, not trashy. I think she was the classiest groupies of the 70s.

i totally agree with you nicovelvet (loved your name, btw)! cyrinda had a beauty that was beyond words. since the day she apperead in new york until her death, she was the most beautiful of the scene. she was blessed with a beauty.. really, i can't find words. and her marilyn look was stunning, her smile was stunning, her eyes was stunning. she was completely stunning. and bebe was not. she was just beautiful. i think bebe had a "doll" looks, she doesn't look like a real woman, and cyrinda did.

and i can't believe that bebe said that. cyrinda wasn't fat. this is all about jealous! what a ridiculous thing. cyrinda won weight when she got married with steven, but she wasn't that big.

i feel sorry for mia. and for cyrinda too! she was just 50, she could live much more. it's just too sad. i think she would be a pretty lady if she was alive.

but about bebe singing: what a shame!!! poor debbie. bebe couldn't compare herself with debbie. debbie is an icon. her voice is amazing, and her style too. i don't like bebe's style, even when she was young. and her voice is horrible. i hate that song "normal girl". if bebe can sing, i can sing and all of you can sing.

i mean, i like bebe. but she always sounds stupid to be. her jealous with the others girls, her ego problem and she thinks that she can do everything: model, rockstars' girlfriend, singer... maybe i got a problem with bebe because she was always vaying with cyrinda and cyrinda is more than just a groupie to me.
