Yes it's interesting & insightful, I really liked the book....of course you notice a little bias, but it's worth the read! Maybe you could order it from ebay or amazon, no? I'll try to get the book back from my friend and have a look through the pictures to scan...!

Agree with most of the above. However, I don't consider Cyrinda a groupie though. She was actually married to Steven and to David Johanssen, so I don't lump her in with the groupies, like Lori, Sable or Bebe.
David Bowie was really head-over-heels for Cyrinda, from what I've read.

you're soooo right EvaLaDiva cyrinda was more of a rockstar wife and muse than a groupie
and i think her and david were so perfect especially in the jean genie video i wish she was in it more because i loved how they interacted but david and cyrinda PERFECT!

Yes, I agree. Cyrinda was much more. Maybe some of you remember that she had her own column in Creem magazine (titled "Eleganza" if I remember well). Or was it in Rock Scene? Anyway she was quite proeminent in both publications in the 70s.

it's one of my favorites pictures of cyrinda! she looks great. i think she and iggy would make such a good couple. and there's also nancy spungen in that picture. really cool.

To think that I kept those old magazines for years before giving them to a collectionneur back in the mid-80s. Ah well, he was so happy... In the 70s, I'd buy all the rock mags every months. I had piles of them. I had to get rid of those humongous piles.
