i am a fan and always will be. i have a black velvet pinafore from the 60s. and also a black velvet romper/jumper from the 70s, really loungey and flattering.

apc has had some cute pinafores their last few rollouts. i tried on a deep red velvet one w/ overall type straps a month ago.

I love this style =) And that pic of Ashley is just too cute, I'd wear her outfit in a heartbeat. I have these old overalls I wanted to cut up the long legs and make into shorts, they are pretty cute and have red suspenders! I also saw this Marc Jacobs zipper dress that's like a romper but with zippers up the whole middle it was quite cute

yesterday i tried these on:

and UGH - it's perfect. Cute and fun. Definitely going to buy it.
Still, they aren't the perfect rompers i'm searching for. The shorts-part is wayy short, so short that you can't really wear it anywhere else except to pool parties or something..
