Oh, thats right! Yesterday would have been her 70th!!! Thinking about that makes me so sad, it's such a shame.

The German Vanity Fair had Romy on the cover for the September issue. It's her in the ocean with her back towards the camera. It's a GORGEOUS picture! I havent been able to get my hands on it, I will have to see what I can do to get it.

Delon was a fool to have left her for that Nathalie woman. Apparently she came back to their Paris apartment from America and what was left for her a bouquet of roses and a note that said "I left to Mexico with Natalie. Goodbye, Alain"

Oh yes, he was incredibly stupid to leave Romy (and the way he apparently did). But I don't villainize him for it the way some do - ultimately they were both still so young and had amazing careers ahead of them, and it doesn't really surprise me that a young 1960's European heartthrob actor would cheat on his girlfriend with another actress (not that any of that excuses him at all, of course - still a rotten thing to do, but if Romy herself could forgive him and remain friends with him for the rest of her life, I think that says something).

He's since shown a lot of regret toward the situation, and he did help revive her career by having her co-star with him in La Piscine.

Anyway, sorry if I sound like a nerd, I just love both of them as actors and the complexity of their relationship.
