I love the reddish or ruby cheeks I´ve been seeing around. But all the blushes I see (I live in south america) are on the pink or brownish shades.

Any suggestion of brands....?

And also, notice in the pics that the cheeks are also quite sparkling...how do you do that without looking too frosted?

Thanks a lot in advance

I cannot post the pics.... They were some recent Gwyneth Paltrow pics at the Golden Globes, where her cheeks were ruby and not pink....

Sorry about the lack of pics, but this thingie keeps saying "error in the page":(

Cheek/lip stain like Benefit's Benetint. Could also be cream blush, a lot of brands do it in red shades, I think Nars and Mac certainly do.

Benetint is amazing, depending on how much you put on you can get anything from a natural flush to full on vamp. you can use it on your lips too.

I used to use Benetint, now I use L'Occitane Tinted Shea Butter Balm in Groseille. It looks very red in the pot but naturally rosy when put on. You can use it on your lips and cheeks...it's sometimes all I put on my face. The look is similar to Benetint except it's more moisturising.

Oh, I like the sound of that!

You could just make up your own with food colouring...which is probably all benetint is!

Oh I´ve seen it but (as you say) I didn´t buy it because it looked too red, but I´m definitely going to try it...sounds exacly like the stuff I´m searching for....and I love L´Occitane, it´s always great quality and the packaging is so cute.

By the way....I´ve found a blush powder by Revlon last weekend called "hint of ruby" that looks really great, but you need a powdered face, so it´s more dressy. I was looking for something more shiny, to wear every day in winter when I usually look like a pale alligator...

Thanks and karma:flower:
