Some if it's a bit much, IMO, but some of the patterns are intricate and gorgeous.

The British high street shops are getting this look in for winter already. I've seen some really nice things - rich colours and gorgeous patterns...it's a nice step onwards (and hopefully away from) from the Bohemian look. I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks for the topic Lena :flower:

I'm not sure if I have the right look to wear this, but I'm definitely going to give it a go! I love the richness and clashing patterns

I like these maybe slightly chicer versions from Etro :

when will we see the russian nesting doll trend? that's what i'm looking forward to :woot:

I love those dolls - have been buying up all the old ones I can find to make something 'interesting'

comparing to the first russian folk/propaganda "wave" for years, i like those much better, specially black and white versions, thanks Lena and stilista:flower:

:woot: thanks for the thread, lena!!. as i said, i was a bit confused about what exactly the trend was but now that i see, it's just lovely, i'd take off the use of fur but totally keep the prints, the floral coats..along with the high-waisted skirts

that kenzo collection is one of my favorites for winter, i cant enough of these dresses..

I love this trend, it's got just the right amount of 'hippiness' without being boho. It's more like something I'd wear, I adore  that dvf coat/dress!

hmm, i can't see any of those clothes in russian folklore. . . but i guess it's the designers' interpretation.
