i like how even when he does studio shoots (as in the first two editorials posted on this page) he still manages to keep things interesting with the sets... the first is so textured and visible it seems almost like a mountain or something living...
in the second the set is much more vibrant and your eye just dances over the image to try to take it all in... so that even though they are studio shots i think they are far from boring...
You're right about his studio shoots, they're never boring.
Another example of this is the Marie Claire shoot with Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The set, consisting of an architect's paraphernalia covered with newspaper, were inspired by her movie "World Trade Center" (see thumbnail #2)

I want see the pics he did of Pedro Almodovar for GQ in march this year. I worked in this shoot but havent got the magazine yet, someone here saw this?
