New York: Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui (especialy after her last spring show )...actualy it's quite funny..i was on ebay the other day and they are auctioning 2 tickets to the Marc Jacobs Spring 2007 show. The tickets come with a Marc Jacobs bag. I thought it was fake at first, but then i saw that it was actualy a charity auction..the money goes to an organization....i so want to go...but the starting bid? $5000

Milan: Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, Roberto Cavalli and Versace

Paris: Christian Dior, Chanel, Alexander Mcqueen, Louis Vuitton, Stella Mccartney

I just saw the Marc Jacobs auction and I think they are crazy...$100 to ship the ticket and bag and an estimated value of $20,000. I don't think so...It is good, however, that the money is going to charity.

NEW YORK: Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte

MILAN:
Burberry Prorsum, Jil Sander, Prada

PARIS: Most of it...especially Balenciaga and YSL...Lanvin

Vionnet - i hope it will make up for our loss of Rochas
Balenciaga - Nicolas never disappoints
Miu Miu - in Paris again? cant wait!
Prada - what does Miuccia come up with this time?
Gucci - i'm liking Frida's last two collections (cruise and menswear)
Chanel - show in the Grand Palais please!

NY-Marc Jacobs. I no longer buy his clothes but I'm curious to see what he has to offer for the new season.
Milan: Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Gucci (is Gucci's ready-to-wear really going down as it was doing in the past seasons?)
Paris: Balenciaga (less reference please...), MiuMiu (more expensive clothes...how do they look?), chloe (same old?), Chanel (as impressive as the couture?), Lanvin (Alber is coming with his strong spring season?), YSL (anything new?), Yohji (oversized is alright but not ridiculously oversized, please). I'm sure there will be more...I look at almost all Paris collections.

NEW YORK - rodarte, catherine malandrino, tess giberson
LONDON - preen, aquascumtum, erdem, margaret howell, john rocha, noir
MILAN - marni, jil sander, alberta ferretti, prada
PARIS - EVERYTHING

New York
Marc Jacobs - Always love to see what he does

Milan
Fendi - Loved F/W06, hope Karl does good again
Versace - Loved f/w06 as well, thought it was a step in a better direction for the dying fashion house, hope they keep up with this revival

Paris
Balenciaga - I love Nicolas, always cant wait to see his stuff
Dior - I know I'll probably hate it but I'm dying to see what craziness Galliano will think up this time
Alexander McQueen - FW06 was by far my favorite collection of the season, i really hope he continues with this throw back to earlier 00's McQueen
YSL - Love Pilati, and hoping for some new cute versions of the muse ^_^

NY: Marc...just for the styling..
Paris: Gaultier & VanNoten..just because..
Milan: to see what will hopefully be yet another piss-poor Frida collection; I need a good laugh now..

i'm looking forward to pretty much every show. it's good to be able to compare them every season. although i must say there are shows i don't get too excited about, but fashion week (ny, milan, paris, london) is nevertheless exciting.

paris: lanvin, balenciaga, paco rabanne (?), chanel, ysl, balmain, vuitton

New York-
BOUDICCA-
if showing.
Tess Giberson for TSE-a bit disappointed in the initial collection...too safe...I only hope it's better this time. Maybe more along the lines of her own works-conceptual/experimental but accessible.

Patrik Rzepski-he gave me a kind of synopsis for the collection and it sounded delightful so I can't to see it visually.

Harald-if he does one I'd be keen to see it. He's a very talented guy.

Cloak-self explanitory.

London-

Preen-I haven't given up hope on them despite some disappointing attempts the previous seasons.

Robert Cary-Williams-He continues to impress me. I loved Autumn.

Jessica Ogden-One of my favourites last season with her marionette-like collection. Probably her strongest in seasons. I can't wait to see what she does this season.

Emma Cook-gorgeous season,A/W was.

Katarzyna Szcozotarska

Roksanda Illincic

Paris-

Bruno Pieters-absolutely amazing collection last season. And this season shan't be any different + he debut's the menswear!!!

Undercover Jun Takahashi-just because I always look forward to his extradordinary work. I hope doesn't let up on the oddly intricate details.

Marjan Pejoski

Mèlodie Wolf-she's getting better and better every season.

Christian Wijnants

Bernhard Willhelm-I expect his usual antics but I do hope he continues along the lines of last season, returning to his roots a bit.

Alexander McQueen

Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy-contrary to Mutterlein's sentiment....I hope he continues the Goth/Sci-Fi approach....I adore it all.

Charles Anastase

Cosmic Wonder

Robert Normand

I would like to see another french revolution of sorts.
ROLAND MOURET, NICOLAS GHESQUIERE, AND OLIVIER THEYSKENS taking back the streets and putting their own showing together!
Death to the Design Dinosaurs!
Comrades unite!
Bring me the heads of those wretched CEO's....

^ that's very henry VIII of you! i agree about those three showing again (although nicolas still shows for balenciaga).

I'm looking forward to all seven days of Paris fashion week, no less

And it's always intresting to see what Marc Jacobs and Miuccia Prada show us this season and how people react with their collections.

McQueen, Anna Sui, Carolina Herrera, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Chanel, J. Lindenberg and Cloak (even though i'm not a guy I still think his clothes look very nice on men)

New York- Proenza Shouler, Marc Jacobs, and Luella

London- Aquascutum and Preen

Milan- Burberry, Prada, and Jil Sander

Paris- Almost everything, but especially Balenciaga, Ann D., Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, YSL, Chloe, Lanvin, Miu Miu, and Yohji Yamamoto

ok im going to say

McQueen - as he went down hill for a bit imo .. but his last collection was so amaizing, it won me back over :) also im interested as what the actual show will be like .. i mean can he out do the kate moss hollogram ??

balenciaga - winter 05/6 was destroyed by the british high street probally the most riped off of all the collections .. so as a result summer 06 was harder to copy, nicolas took some of christobels designs and reworked them im interested to see if he continues with this theme and if he continues to be anti high street and makes his clothes even harder to mass produce .. that could be very interesting :woot:

alice mccall - everyone was praising her stuff in the last collection .. i must admit i liked some of it .. very much my style :) i want to see if she can continue to improve and weather the very very good publicity will give her the confidense etc. to make an amaizing collection :)

Totally forgot about Calvin Klein, Mutterlein's post reminded me. I loved the last f/w and resort collections.

^ i agree. calvin klein is one of the few new york shows really worth seeing.
