Anyway, strangely I think he pulls it off. Would have prefered models though, let's see who'll get the womens ad.

I actually don't like that he is still milking the Bohemian Rhapsody role. He should move on and focus on crafting a more personal public image, otherwise people are going to think of him as one-note and get bored. It might have even already started to happen.

As for the images themselves, they're just like any other Saint Laurent campaign under Vaccarello, but with a less interesting celebrity in front of the camera.

Can't stand this mediocre hack, one of the Academy's biggest mistakes EVER. And Anthony seems to have a knack for choosing the worst men for his campaigns. Pity, because this time around the clothes actually looks interesting. This guy sucking every inch of coolness out of these outfits.

I like him, though I must say ever since seeing this collection in Dazed I hope the boy from Stranger Things would've gotten it instead.

This portion of the collection is really growing on me, but I wonder, will it sell?

^^^ I still forget Hedi’s no longer designing for this, since Anthony's men’s is still clinging to Hedi's SLP residue. And I suspect it does sell to people that just care about owning Saint Lauent and don’t care who’s designing for the label.

Anthony's SL women’s is so confident and consistent— which just makes the men’s so much more painfully lacking: It always resembles the 13yo geek trying to hang with his cool older sister and her hot friends— but still has a long way to go before potentially blossoming into a Jim Morrison when he’s 20, so Ezra and Finn fits the narrative (and why Rami doesn’t. He’s just so desperately forced; what’s with the weird fingers????)
