Sam Worthington and his girlfriend, Natalie Mark, check luggage together before leaving on a flight from LAX on Tuesday (January 19). The 33-year-old actor and his love got on a Virgin Atlantic flight and headed home after a crazy weekend at the Golden Globes, where Avatar took the top prize for Best Drama!
Sam told E! at the Globes that he’s already discovering some of the perks of being in a movie that earns $1 billion: “I get through customs easier,” he shared. “I don’t get the rubber glove anymore.”

Sam Worthington: Directors Guild Guy

Sam Worthington arrives at the 62nd Annual Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 30) in Century City, Calif.

The 33-year-old Avatar actor wore a custom-tailored black pinstripe suit by Burberry and was joined by his girlfriend Natalie Mark at the event.

Sam came out to support director, James Cameron who’s nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for Avatar.

Earlier in the day, James shared the biggest challenge of directing.

“The worst is explaining the movie,” James said during a DGA panel. “The world will never understand. the best is getting the respect of my team and my respect for them. And if we can make a lot of money, that’s cool.”

Sam Worthington lands in Australia with his girlfriend Natalie Mark and shops for a phone in Bondi Beach in Sydney on Tuesday (February 2).

The 33-year-old English-born actor, who was raised in Perth, Western Australia, comes back home before going on the road to promote Clash Of The Titans.

It looks like everyone’s hopping on the 3-D Avatar train. According to the NY Times, Clash Of The Titans was supposed to be released on March 26 but was delayed to April 2 so that the film can be converted into 3D.

new project for sam

Avatar’s Sam Worthington is set to star in Texas Killing Fields, a murder mystery based on real events.

The film tells the story of police officers on the hunt for unknown killers who take the lives of as many as 60 people over the course of 20 years, according to Variety.

Sam will portray a homicide detective working with a New Yorker-turned-Texan to find the killers.

If you can’t wait to see Sam on the big screen, you’re in luck - he’s starring in Clash of the Titans, which hits theaters this April!
