Sanrio's New Store Momoberry

Here’s a new word you should know: Momoberry.
We think of Momoberry as a state of feeling peachy, pink, breezy, quirky, stylish, and sophisticated. It’s also the name of a new shopping experience from Sanrio featuring accessories, clothing, Hello Kitty and more.

Momoberry will feature many special Sanrio collections not found anywhere else, including an exclusive fragrance line, limited edition eyewear from Bjorn Eyewear, fashion tees and tops from Mighty Fine and special jewelry designs from Tarina Tarantino, plus lots of unique creations from Sanrio. The store will open in early July at Beverly Center (upper level) in Los Angeles.

somehow how SHOP HELLO KITTY and $2000 don't seem like they should be on the same page. Although I really do like some of the stuff, you can get Hello Kitty at Claire's, Hot Topic and PacSun for under $10. It's the same look... although it's not "fine" jewelry. But who needs FINE Hello Kitty jewelry?

This is very reminiscent of Vintage Disney. Disney was never Haute until they made the shirts 80 bucks, emblazoned them with Swarovski, and celebs flaunted them. Hello Kitty by Kimora Lee Simmons ( ) is just for the nouveau riche to pretend they're being cutesy, young and fun.

And this is why I think they picked the peeerrrffeecct location....I see those nouveau riche fashion victims often there. I was just there yesterday and there was a pregnant lady covered in LV sandals, LV bag, LV charm bracelet and Lv necklace...and what do you know?! The shopping bag she had was....Louis Vuitton...I bet you its that stupid LV teddybear for her unborn child

Eerr back to topic, but errrr I really think Momoberry will be Paris Hiltons favorite store .... As soon as it opens I'll go visit it and tell you guys how it is.
