Sarah Jessica Parker

she looks good most of the time, btu she looks alot better on sex and teh city thanks to patricia field

Exactly,Space*! She wouldn't be such a fashion darling if it hadn't been for Lori Goldstein and Pat Field. To recieve such a title of 'fashion goddess',imo, they must have their own tastes and their own intuition of what suits them and not rely on stylists to create their looks. While she may carry things well and sometimes(though not my cuppa) look good I wouldn't call SJP fashion goddess.

The only ones worth rendering that title to are the icons and the legends. Like,Audrey Hepburn,Marlene Dietrich,Jane Birkin,Grace Kelley or Bridgette Bardot. My personal favorite's would be Edie Sedgewick or Charlotte Rampling but like Chicks* they too may also be strectching it a bit.

A little too much, the title? SJP Godess of Fashion? Don't think so.
yeah..

maybe A goddess of fashion, but not THE goddess of fashion. [/b][/quote]

I agree

I absolutely LOVE sara jessica parker. she's my favorite celebrity for fashion.

i like SJP's sense of fashion & the way she chooses what to wear, especially for vogue photo shoot sessions -- but i also absolutely adore Sarah Brightman's style.

i think the best dressed of hollywood would be kate blanchet, nicole kidman, and that zellweger gal oh and jaime king has a cute stlye evryone else sucks even with theyre stylists.

I agree, Scott. :flower: I also want to add someone who breaks rules and doesn't look like everyone else. Someone who marches to the beat of her own drum. B)

I agree, SJP is A goddess of fashion. 85% of the time she leaves me in awe on and off the show. She takes risks and you never know what to expect to see her wear next.

Have you seen how that girl dressed before she hit the big time? It was nothing worthy of admiration.... so regardless of her current hits or misses, with or without outside assistance, she was not born and style flowing through the bloodstream so I can't say i agree with such high praise.

so true but that goes for everyone in this world. i mean it better later than never, right? ;)
all the famous and rich got their own stylists. even if its "only" their favourite SA at FRED SEGAL or BARNEYS or BROWNS. thats how the pretty people have learned.
how i wish to know what kate moss looked like before she hit the catwalk :innocent:

i love SJP. the ultimate goddess? uhm, maybe not. but definitely lots of grace and confidence to at least carry anything she wears like a princess would

Yes, but I don't know, some youngsters, not necessarily famed, establish their tastes and their style young and without all the help of someone with a trained eye. Was she truly placed on this earth to be 'the' or even 'a' 'goddess of fashion', I doubt it would have taken her till her twenties to decipher the differences between good and bad.

 !?!

ok correction to my original title!

i mean, Sarah Jessica Parker is TODAY'S goddess of fashion!! of course i give TONS of credit to the fashion icons before her...audrey, bridget, marilyn (i love marilyn  ) and whoever created vogue magazine. and yes definately a lot of sarah's credit also goes to the people who dress her... i think i mean more that the collection of all clothing she's ever worn is the best (her closet, like i said before), although i also LOVE her and sex and the city.. what a fab show :flower:

and just a little more praise for her, she can pull off anything and i love her daring sense of style because i like shocking people with my outfits too:) lots of people dont appreciate a daring sense of style, and i would like to give props to sarah for always making it look fabulous!

oh and in response to the comments that she wasnt BORN a style maven, (soryr i dont know how to insert them into this box--if someone would tell me i'd appreciate it :) ) >>> seriously, give her some credit... im sure all of us werent born wearing manolos and a chanel gown.. as embarrased as i am to admit it, my favorite outfit when i was about 8 was a faux velvet matching leggings and shirt with a print of pink roses.. :innocent: cute huh? everyone's style evolves, and today, sarah's is gorgeous!

Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Connelly, SPJ, Nicole Kidman (she totally has a stylist dress her though), Milla Jovovich (has had a few fashion missteps), Cameron Diaz (funky but super cool), and Britney Spears (just kidding).

I read in Vogue and InStyle that she's more than a stylist's mannequin. She doesn't have a stylist. She dresses herself. She just get's help from consultant L'Wrenn Scott. He just shows her the photos probably and orders the dresses.

i believe that. its not THAT hard to dress well once uve been taught.

and just FYI, i looked like c##p in the eighties too

as someone mentioned, you arent born with MANOLOS on, are you

Really? I heard a few places she uses a stylist, but if not, then good for her, and she's awesome!

Yup. And I also heard she even goes shopping for clothes HERSELF-she's a big fan of rising talent Bruno Pieters(she has a watchful eye, that's for sure) and simply adores quirky design duo Antoni & Alison. She may look glamazon on the carpet but judging from those two she seems like she likes to be a bit more daring and experimental in her daily life.
