The thing is that people always say she has great style.

I dont think the style is hers. I think it is her stylists that have the great style when she's on the red carpet.

She obviously dresses herself in that picture

there is absolutely nothing special about this outfit, not nice not ugly. it is simply a plain t-shirt with shorts and sunglasses and i can't see why it's ugly?

seriously- and to say that her style is not because the work you suspect a stylist does all the work on the red carpet - based on the fact that she doesn't look like she's on the red carpet when she's in the park with her family and little boy?! That is just stupid. That's like seeing someone camping and saying they look like crap because they don't look the way they did on oscar night-or at the costume gala at the met. Just ridiculous. It is only normal to dress down on regular days.

but yes i agree and what is she supposed to wear in a park or traveling? oscar de la renta gowns? i also think that sarah has innate style all her own influenced by her stay at sex and the city but the woman knows what looks good on her on and off the red carpet...

i think it's safe to say that Sarah Jessica's transformation from bland dresser to chic fashionista has a great deal to do with Ms. Patricia Field. Sarah Jessica has totally emulated the style of Carrie - because of you've seen prior pics of Sarah preSATC - you'll know what I mean.
