Sass&Bide S/S 06 New York

I thing I might like some pieces, but I am just not sure yet. I am not even sure what I am seeing sometimes

:woot: I LOVE IT! Finally a collection with an "edge"! I would so wear so many of those pieces!!!

i dont understand this, its not that its bad its just why do they have a runway show? its the stuff you allready get in topshop but a tad overstyled

I agree - I especially love the green dress on...Natasha? Hard to see with the animal on her face...

That's definetly my favourite, I just love that colour.

ive got to stand up for my fellow aussies here - i think that the over all theme of sass and bide is too have a bit of fun with pieces already out there - plus make a striking garment which complements the whole piece - u just have to take it with shot of bourbon lol its so caught on down here because we have a more laid back sense to the history (as in we have none exept for mullets and acid wash jeans im afraid) of fashion here and the aim is pretty much to look good while still having fun....so overall i think sarah and heidi have completed this look well again this year!

the dead animals are just too gross, cant see through them to even see the dresses!

hmmmmmmmmmmm....................-_- I like the occaisonal shorts or top..but nah, got no theme (xcept that of dead animals..which doesn't count) and looks all messy and boringly OTT

We have so many amazing designers down here in aus, and these are the ones that really hit it big, why is that? Maybe S&B is seen as upholding the theatrics of OTT fashion that is wearable?
Im not a fan of their clothes, but Ive seen theyve got some cute bathers this season.

Ermmm....looks like carnival dressing in Australia to me.

poo I agree...there are so many wonderful other australian designers and this one hit big....not them.

though sass & bide do make good jeans

i think not as many people will like their new season due to their over exposure. We all like to be different and a new desgin provides us with this. I still appreaciate their work but their spotlight is running out.

even if you look at them as seperates, it's still the exact same thing they've been doing for the past 3 years and completely unworthy of having a runway show, least of all in nyc.

I agree that they shouldn't have a show. It's nothing new, though the animals are interesting touches.

it's really so hit-and-miss, but mostly miss. like the mj collection with stirrup pants... i just sit here shaking my head and thinking what a disappointment s/s 06 has proven to be thus far
