Sean Penn

I heard somewhere that despite the horrible ecnomy they managed to sell their MArin County home for 15 mil.

Wow it's a pretty great looking house but I didn't think it would go for $15 million. That's quite a profit, I think they only put about $7 million down for the land to build it. No wonder Sean dropped out of all his movies, he doesn't need any money right away if this is true.

^Absolutely, I am not certain that the house wen't for 15 mil, however I did read somewhere that it was listed for 15mil.
My bf's cousin lives in SF and we drove past the property once, it is in an exclusive and beautiful community and they did do a lot renovation to it and lots of add ons.
Thanks for the pics amazing house.

"Sean Penn was spotted holding court at a table with three women at L.A.'s Bar Lubitsch. The actor was in "good spirits," an eyewitness says, as he chatted with his female company. He seemed to enjoy the attention and stayed until the bar closed at 2 a.m. "
Above is a quote from People Mag online from the star sighting or whatever it is section. At least he is enjoying himself.

I thought he was back with Robin again?? Those guys seem to break up like every week!

^Well this time they have filed the papers, and Robin stated that it is over.

Sean Penn isn't letting a little thing like divorce get him down. He and a mystery beauty had a very cozy dinner date Friday night at London's SoHo Hotel.

Sean and his much-younger companion laughed and joked through their meal, and at one point, he spoon-fed her some of his dessert.
Sean and his wife Robin Wright have split and made up several times in the last few years. It looks as though the marriage is finally over for good though.

Babyjane thank you so much for posting. I guess he is "dating" around.

she is not looking like ophra, next to her ophra is real good looking. She is looking like a man 0_o

What ever happened to looks aren't everything? Besides Sean isn't exactly the greatest looking guy himself. I like him more if he's more interested in personality though I agree with with kobro22 that you can't even see her clearly. The photograph is taken thru a window for goodness sake!

^I couldn't agree more.
By the way Babyjane I read the bio you reccomended it was so good, and you are right it is a great reference when watching his movies.

^Oh great I'm glad you liked the book. You might also like another book by actor Richard E. Grant. It's called: With Nails: The Film Diaries of Richard E.Grant and it HILARIOUS! I wasn't familiar with Richard at all but you don't need to be. The book is great if you want a honest, funny take on the film industry.

Fantastic thank you so much Babyjane I will pick it up as well. Have you read "Easy Riders, Raging Bulls (...)" it is a brilliant book about the directors and the film industry in the seventies, they even made a documentary based on it (there are clips on youtube).

^Thanks I've heard that title before but haven't seen on read it. I'll try to check that out, I'm behind on my reading. I'm currently reading Pride and Prejudice don't ask me why. I figure I should read at least one thing by Jane Austen though I constantly have to give myself pep talk like "Come on you can do it, you can finish this book."

^Ugh I know what you mean I had to read Pride and Prejudice for school, I was too fond of the author. I adore the russian masters Dostoyevsky (my favorite), Tolstoy. I also loved Madame Bovary - every gal should read it (quite extraordinary that a man wrote so insightfully about the psyche of a woman).

^Ok they're out of my league. I'm barely getting thru Austen.

^Trust me try Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment" once you get into the rythym of the novel you get transported to the world created bt the novelist you will love it.

^_^ you're right I guess I really should take whatever Sean takes.
How I still wish he could get back with Robin though.
