I think Selena is taking advantage of her booming stardom right now. I also don't like the direction she is taking in her music career, but she has plenty of time to grow into adulthood. Then, we should anticipate where she goes with it all.

^if you think stage presence and a voice is enough to call someone a musical talent than our discussion ends here. we obviously have different taste in music and we cant argue about that. to me a talented musician is someone who actually loves music and don't do just for fun or because they can get a label contract easily. is someone who can sing, play instruments and write their own song. good songs by the way.

i agree with papa_levante , we have to wait until she grows up. cant' wait for her adulthood

idk if it's just me, but her voice reminds me A LOT of ashlee simpson's voice - especially in her second album (ie: i didn't steal your boyfriend, love, etc.)

Yeah you're right. I'm not sure about her playing music instrument, but she did said in her blog she don't want to write any songs yet for her first album (since it's the first, she don't want to experiment with her songs just yet) but will do so in her second.
