This is Angel, one of the former contestants on Bravo's The Fashion Show.

 I don't know about this. It would look really awkward growing out, wouldn't it?

I like Cassie's look. You need genuine attitude to pull this look off, but plenty of girls can and do.

The practice of razoring lines as in the first pic has never appealed to me. I hope it's not making a comeback.

I would never, ever consider doing this, but kudos to those brave enough to. Just thinking about the growing out process makes me shudder.

i would love to try it but am too scared

i feel naked without my long hair

i love Carmen s

I did it and love it. Undercut, which is brown, and a light very toned blonde on top.
I love the way Alice Dellal did it. She looks fantaaaastic in a white-trash-grunge-chic way.

In the VIP room of the club I run, we do this hairstyle on girls with clippers. I do think it's going to be past its sell by soon, and lots of people are going to be stuck with an awkward growing out situation.

I think this style only suits some people, like Alice Dellal - she pulls it off really well. And Amelle from the Sugababes. I wouldn't do it myself because it would be horrible trying to grow it out, especially as my hair doesn' grow very fast and it's very curly.

I've been wanting to do something similar to the Angel girl but instead of lines I want to shave a little heart shape. My sister (a hair stylist) says she'll do it when she comes to visit in August, I'm so excited.
I can't really see this look getting too popular with the mainstream though.

this is not typically my kind of hair style.. i don't think i'd ever do it, and it's a bit too agressive for me.. but i have had this picture from the sartorialist saved onto my computer for months and i think she pulls it off magnificently.

i think part of why i like it so much is that it compliments rather than overpowers or defines her look.. i feel like with this haircut sometimes all you can do is stare at the hair, but with this girl it seems that you could pay attention to her clothes or her face and not stay stuck on the daring hair cut. ^_^

i think you have to be really careful. it can look too harsh pretty easily, and by harsh i mean punk/goth/fresh from the hairdresser. all that 'asymmetrical' crap, you know? with the awful multi-tonal streaks?
if you're going to do it, make it kind of messy and edgy and raw, not too polished. that's why it works on alice dellal and cassie.

i think drastic undercuts should be left to punks or people who can truely pull it off.

it is such a hair trend though, i've seen a few people up here with undercuts.

Lets not forget Alice Dellal's do....

I think Alice Dellal always looks a bit try-hard, but maybe that's just me (she was mentioned previously, BTW ;)).

She has the look and attitude to carry it off though. Cassie and Lala look ridiculous.

I think Alice Dellal is a complete knob. If I see the words 'punk model and heiress' one more time next to her name I'll kick off! Argh!
